Choosing a wedding photographer is a huge decision — you want someone you connect with, who understands your vision, and who can deliver photos you’ll love for years to come.
To help you feel confident, here are the top 10 questions you should ask any wedding photographer before you book. (And yes — I’ll answer them for you, too!)
1. How would you describe your photography style?
Every photographer has their own approach. Mine is candid, true-to-colour, and storytelling-focused — capturing real emotions, not just posed moments.
2. Do you offer full-day coverage?
Yes! From getting ready through to dance floor chaos, I can cover your entire day so no detail is missed.
3. How many images will we receive?
With me, your gallery is uncapped. That means you get every photo of value — often 600+ for weddings.
4. When will we receive our photos?
I deliver sneak peeks within 48–72 hours, and your full gallery within 2–4 weeks.
5. Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I’m based in Bathurst but travel across the Central West and beyond. Travel fees may apply, but I’ll always be upfront about costs.
6. Can we see a full wedding gallery?
Absolutely — I encourage it. A full gallery shows you how I capture an entire day, not just highlight images.
7. What happens if you get sick or can’t make it?
I have backup plans and trusted photographers in my network who can step in. Your day will never go uncovered.
8. Do you offer albums or prints?
Yes! While all sessions come with digital galleries, you can also order albums and prints to bring your photos to life.
9. Will you help with posing?
Definitely. I’ll guide you with natural prompts so you never feel stiff or awkward. The goal is always authentic connection.
10. Why should we choose you?
Because I’ll treat your wedding like it’s the most important day in the world — capturing not just the big moments, but the little ones too. My job is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and celebrated.
