Heather & Lawrence’s wedding wasn’t just another celebration — it was history in the making. They were the very first couple to marry at Clifton Woolshed, Bathurst’s newest wedding venue, and it was an absolute honour to capture their day.

As a Bathurst wedding photographer, I had the joy of documenting Lawrence and his groomsmen getting ready, their emotional ceremony, and all the magic that followed — from portraits as husband and wife to family moments and the fun of their bridal party.

The Boys Getting Ready

There’s something about wedding mornings that feels electric. Lawrence and his groomsmen laughed their way through the prep, with just enough quiet pauses to remind you of the nerves beneath it all. These candid in-between moments — ties being straightened, shoes laced, and buttonholes pinned — are some of my favourite parts to capture.

The Ceremony at Clifton Woolshed

Heather and Lawrence exchanged vows inside the rustic timber-lined Woolshed, surrounded by their closest family and friends. The emotion in the room was palpable — tears, laughter, and so much joy as the couple made history as the first to marry here.

After the ceremony, we explored the beautiful grounds of Clifton Woolshed for their couples portraits. The paddocks glowed in that signature Bathurst golden hour, making the perfect backdrop for timeless, true-to-colour photos. These portraits were full of giggles, little glances, and the quiet excitement of just-married bliss.

Family & Bridal Party

No wedding is complete without the people who mean the most. We made time for family portraits, creating keepsakes that will be treasured for generations.
