Some weddings are elegant. Some are traditional.Jen & Cam’s was neither. It was better. 🖤
Held on 7 February 2026 at Bee Keepers Inn, their day blended emo/alt energy with soft pastel tones in a way that somehow made perfect sense. Think temporary tattoos, cut-outs of their dog at the reception, and a playlist that hit straight in the feelings.
Nothing about it was generic.
A Timeline That Actually Made Sense
Instead of a long gap between ceremony and reception, they went straight into couple portraits immediately after saying “I do,” followed by quick family photos.
No dragging things out.No guests wondering where everyone disappeared to.
Just intentional choices so they could spend more time with their people.

The Photo Dash (AKA Genius Move)
Rather than endless table photos later, they did a “photo dash” outside.
Guests lined up, came through quickly, said hi, congratulated them, grabbed both a fun and serious photo, and moved along.
Jen & Cam got to sit, breathe, and enjoy the moment instead of being pulled in twenty directions. By the time dinner started, all the formalities were DONE.
Highly recommend.

Rain… But Make It Cinematic
The weather couldn’t decide what it wanted. Not a light sprinkle, not a storm. Just enough rain to cancel outdoor dancing at times but create that moody, glowy atmosphere photographers secretly love.
And honestly? It suited their vibe perfectly.
Rain adds texture, movement, reflections, drama. It makes everything feel more real and less staged. We kept shooting, adapted when needed, and ended up with photos that feel like a movie.

Personal Details That Made the Day
This wedding worked because it was unapologetically THEM:
Their car included in photos
Temporary tattoo station
DIY florals
Song choices that mattered
Their people fully leaning in
No trends for the sake of trends. Just intention.

Proof That “Perfect” Isn’t Required
Rain happened. Plans shifted. Nothing was sterile or staged.
And yet the day felt full, joyful, emotional, and deeply personal.
If you’re planning a wedding that prioritises feeling over perfection, you’re my kind of people.
