A Beautiful Wedding Ceremony Full of Personality

One of my favourite things about weddings is seeing couples make the day their own, and Keiran and Rowena did exactly that.

Before reading their vows, they settled the age-old question of who would go first with a game of rock, paper, scissors. It had everyone laughing and perfectly reflected the fun, easy-going energy they brought to the entire day.

Another incredibly special moment was seeing Rowena walk down the aisle with both her son and her dad. It was emotional, meaningful, and one of those moments that reminds you what weddings are really about: family, connection, and celebrating the people who matter most.

Family Photos, Bridal Party Photos & Couple Portraits

After the ceremony, we gathered everyone together for a big group photo before moving into family photos, bridal party portraits, and couple photos.

One thing couples often ask me is how long wedding photos actually take.

For Keiran and Rowena, we completed all of their family photos, bridal party photos, and couple portraits in just over an hour. Having a clear plan and a relaxed approach meant we could keep things moving while still creating beautiful images and giving them plenty of time to enjoy their wedding day.

The portrait portion of the day felt effortless, with lots of laughs, genuine moments, and time for the newlyweds to simply enjoy being together.

Celebrating with the Bridal Party

Before making their way into the reception, the bridal party took a moment to celebrate with a few glasses of bubbles together.

These in-between moments are often some of my favourites to photograph. The ceremony nerves have disappeared, everyone is relaxed, and the excitement of the day starts to really settle in.

They’re the moments that often end up meaning the most years later.

Reception at The Greens on William

The celebrations continued with a reception at The Greens on William.

Guests were welcomed in with a room reveal before the reception entrances kicked off the evening. From there, everyone enjoyed delicious food, heartfelt speeches, cake cutting, and plenty of time catching up with family and friends.

The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and exactly what a wedding reception should be.

One of the highlights of the evening was watching Keiran and Rowena share their first dance surrounded by the people who had come together to celebrate their marriage.

A Relaxed Bathurst Wedding Filled with Meaningful Moments

What stood out most about Keiran and Rowena’s wedding wasn’t a perfectly styled detail or an elaborate timeline.

It was the people.

The laughter during the ceremony. The support from family. The excitement from their bridal party. The way they prioritised spending time with the people they love.

Those are the moments that make a wedding unforgettable.
